Stage 2 Outdoor Education students participated in Bush Walking Camp at Litchfield National Park. The purpose for attending was to complete students’ self-reliant practical assessment.

 

 

Stage 2 Outdoor Education: Litchfield Table Top Bush Walking Camp

Students camped at Litchfield National Park for 4 days, achieving approximately 10km walk every day, discussing environmental issues at Litchfield National Park. At each camp, students had a swimming recovery after long walk in water falls and cooked a healthy camping food in Trangia stove. All of students improved and achieved especially leadership and cooperation with others. Students had their own reflection of what went well and what needs to be improved for next time.

There four day hike trail:

First Day: Florence Falls – Walker Creek
Second Day: Walker Creek – Tjenya Falls
Third Day: Tjenya Falls – Wangi Falls
Fourth Day: Wangi Falls
