Sacred Heart Day

Sacred Heart Day

On Friday 16th June, St Mary’s and St Paul’s primary schools joined us in the celebration of the Feast of the Sacred Heart at St Mary’s Cathedral. It was a wonderful celebration led by Fr Roy O’Neil MSC. I could not be prouder to be a member of the College Community, seeing how our students conducted themselves and welcomed and supported students from St Mary’s and St Paul’s.

Sacred Heart Day

The Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is an important feast day for the Church but especially for the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart, which is the charism that our College is built upon. The celebration and devotion to the Sacred Heart comes from the Heart being a symbol of love. It is through Jesus who expressed his ultimate love for us who has shown us how to love and the importance of living a life full of love.
